The last and one of my favorite etchings I made this semester, this slumberous camel is meant to be one half of a set (the other being
this llama etching). The color palette came out EXACTLY to my liking, a warm purple/red with yellow dominating the figure and subtle orange adding to the form. Etching is a long, quite messy process requiring much patience and a good sense of humor. It has forced me to relinquish some control over the process and its end result and just go with the flow: a good lesson indeed.
