The mysterious owl maidens gather together when night is most black and dance until dawn on my latest screenprint. As I've alluded in the last couple of posts, my last silkscreen project for the semester was printing on wood. It presented new challenges to me. Half the blocks did not work out, but the ones that did look great. I also printed an edition of 18 on Arches & BFK Rives paper for good measure. They will both go up in the shop in late September. I will be taking another silkscreen class in the fall, which will be my busiest class/semester yet! First up is another accordion book (God help me) starring a sea-faring octopod. So much planning awaits me! In the meanwhile, below are each of the separations on the boards:
