Hello! Haven't been able to post new work in a while on the blog (no sneak peeks allowed) so this picture of my makeshift workspace will have to suffice (Notice the harmony between the Treks and Wars). However I have so much exciting news to share!
Happy to say that I will be contributing to Round 3 of the Old & New Project! For those of you not familiar with Old & New, it is a collaborative design project based on Biblical passages, created and curated by Jim LePage and Troy Deshano. This round's theme is "turning points". You can check out the full roster here. Can't wait to see everyone's work this round!
But that's not all! I will have a brand-new comic featured in issue #16 of Carboncito, a South American comics anthology. This will be the first time my comics will be published by someone other than myself! Since it's hard to find stateside, I will post pictures as soon as I get my hands on a copy.
Last but not least, I will be participating in a group show curated by AMMO, a UK print magazine and website dedicated to illustration. Without revealing too much, what I can say is I'll be illustrating a character with a nautical theme. The exhibition will run from April 29th until May 4th at the Coningsby Gallery in the centre of London. This marks my first group show!
I'm so lucky and grateful to be part of such wonderful projects. I'll post work-in-progress soon!
OK, so maybe one sneak peek. I've teamed up again with good friend and designer Shalimar Luis to create custom wedding invitations for our mutual friends. These leftovers were silkscreened on cardboard.
