Had an opportunity to visit The High line on Labor Day, and drew this quick sketch while taking in the view.

A page from a life drawing session two Tuesdays ago. Planning on going to tonight's session with the goal of filling up the last few pages of my first-ever moleskine.

I managed to finally attend a life drawing class at SVA. I can't wait until March is over: I'm always exhausted and never seem to have time to work on anything personal. Just a few more days…

I re-worked these sketches last night while at work. I like this direction, and might apply similar, surrealist-ish elements in a series of etchings I am currently working on. I have a few more sketches in my moleskine that need finishing touches (including a neglected family portrait), so I'll be adding those shortly!

We had a model last week in my inking class, so we did some quick studies. Let me tell you, inking without penciling first isn't easy. But it's all good practice. I've been working on creating a webcomic to post here as well as on Partners In Design. Hopefully it will be up by the end of November or early December. So keep an eye out for it!
